Long-Term Care: Assistance with the basic personal tasks of everyday life, sometimes called Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as: Eating, Bathing, Dressing, Using the toilet, Transferring (to or from bed or chair), and Continence. It can also include help with other everyday tasks, like grocery shopping, housework, caring for pets, etc.
